The Peace and Justice Committee is focusing on issues affecting Rural Communities including:

  • Supporting local food producers
  • Supporting healthier food choices
  • Promoting and supporting local farmers
  • Promoting local farmer’s markets
  • Decreasing rate of homelessness in Green County
  • Addressing housing for homeless and meals
